Check engine light, seatbelt light, and airbag light all covered with duct tape. Gotta love surprises left from previous owners...

I recently cleared all the codes, and the only engine related one that has reappeared is for a cylinder 8 misfire which I have noticed occasionally (new coil ordered).

The airbag light is for passenger door airbag circuit - next step is to take off the door panel and check the connections. Fingers crossed it was just just left disconnected after an inevitable window regulator repair.

When the Board was young and dinosaurs roamed the earth (LOL) a member found that the a LED had actually been removed from the board. A quick solder job restored a LED to the board and then came the fun eliminating the cause.

On the airbag light, I expect the likelihood of just needing a reset vs. anything actually being wrong is so high, that I'd skip the inspection and just work on resetting the light.

I can clear the airbag code, unfortunately it comes right back. A bit of googling tells me the connector to the door airbag is easily damaged, a few others have successfully repaired it.

Do tell! I have an E46 airbag connector that needs repair.

This guy just cleaned up and re-seated the connector, and problem fixed.
