How wash salt off brake line?

Hello all,

After I replaced about 30 inches of the 2 rear brake metal lines (under driver's area), I inspected around and the rest of the metal lines (from the Left Rear passenger area to both wheels) are fine without any rust.

However, there is white salt deposit on the rest of the lines.
NO RUST at all as the protective coating is still intact.

I washed with garden hose but the white stuff is still on the lines.

Questions are:

1. The white coating by salt on top of an otherwise intact factory coating: can the white coating attacks the coating?

2. How do you wash this white stuff off?
I rubbed on it but it appeared to be hardened onto the line.

So far I am not too worried because:

1. I see no rust on the rest of the lines.

2. Worst come to worst...I will replace with Ni-Copp line all the way from the union under driver's area ---> to each wheel caliper.
