how do i disable all interior lights to do work inside the cabin?

hi,i need to replace the blower motor, so the dash needs to be removed etc.
i need to turn off all the interior lights so the battery doesn't drain.

I'd just disconnect the battery, but if you don't want to do that then just push and hold the center light button for 15+ seconds

Push and hold the center dome light button. Lights will go out and will not be back until the button is pressed again.

3-4 seconds is all it takes to put the car in service mode and keep the interior lights off.

Annoyingly that doesn't disable the hatch lights but I either ignore them and they eventually go out or latch the latch with my thumb (good idea to hang something from to remind you: slamming a locked hatch is not wonderful)

You could end up with issues as dash elements are disconnected that would cause the mode to disable and the lights to come on just be prepared to disconnect bat if needed or put on a charger to keep the bat from going flat
