That video actually tells me QJ is not worth it.

First, the hardest part about QJ will be to take them down from the wall and maneuver it to the sides of the car.
That could be a PITA in a narrow garage. The video was deceptive since it started with the QJ already aside the car. This negates the floor jack's mobility advantage.

Despite that, the QG owner only saved 2 minutes. In the above scenario, QJ would be slower for me. Even if not, 2 mins. does not seem enough a delta to justify a $1000 outlay.

Nice!! I've always wondered about these things as far as functionality for accessing under the vehicle when it was lifted.

Looks worth it to me. If that thing is only $1000 I might pick one up before next BF. Takes me at least 15 minutes to get all 4 corners of one of my vehicles in the air. I use those jack point pucks and they always take extra time to line up. I like the extra stability though if I am going to be under any vehicle. If it took 5 minutes to setup the QJ it would be worth it for me... Especially when you multiply the upkeep requirements of 3 BMW's and being the family's mechanic.

The ramps have wheels on one end making it juts as mobile as a floorjack though a little heavier.

I'm not here to sell you the QuickJack @onthefence, just letting other members know about the weight capacity and length needed for our X5's if they are considering one.

Shipping to Saudi may be a bit cost prohibitive but...

You are near a base.... I only need room for a 130 (and you have to dress as a General)

Kidding...

Our last C-130 left 2 years ago but we could throw it on a C-17.

Thanks for the useful info, Overboost.

I'm guessing the EXT will work on your 3-series... is this longer model a problem for smaller cars than that, such as a 1-series?
