OBD2 is an engine management/emissions control system. It will not show chassis errors.

But BMW Scanner 1.4 will get you into all the other modules in your BMW.

To clarify, pin 7 on the OBDII is DME and EGS and pin 8 on the OBDII is all other modules. All working INPA and BMW Scanner 1.4 cables have pin 7 and 8 linked together.
