According to the diagram above (and my own testing): Pin 1: power, Pin 2: ground Pin 3: illumination Pin 4: not used. I'm in the process of doing this - perhaps I should do a write-up or video. |

Pin #1 (not sure of colour - blue with ?) is power and can either connect to power wire on the cig. socket or better, run a wire up to the fusebox behind the glovebox an tap into a switch power source. Connecting directly to the cig. socket power will run the USB-C converters at all times and may flatten the battery after a week or so. Connecting to the switched power will shut off the USB-C converters when you shut down the car.
