QuickJack 7000EXT for the X5

Just wanted to make a thread for anyone looking to buy the QuickJack lift for their X5. The most popular model is the 5000SLX rated at 5000 lb maximum capacity, and although our X5's are just crossing that maximum capacity, I went with the 7000 lb. version as I didn't want to be at an absolute limit while in the air and working underneath it.

There are also 2 versions of the next model, the 7000SLX and the 7000EXT. The SLX has a maximum lift point spread of 60" and our X5's are 62.5" center lift point to center lift point. The EXT has a maximum lift point spread of 66" and with the SUV/Truck height extenders, it is right on the money with little to spare.

Sure enough the weather turned good today so I had a chance to assemble the QuickJack 7000EXT and set everything up. I can easily move around under the X5 now with the SUV extenders. This is going to make my suspension rebuilds much easier.

Just an FYI, if you plan on going for the QuickJack for your X5, make sure to order the 7000EXT.
