Question Tail Gate Load?

Does anyone know where I can find the load rating for my tailgate? I think I read somewhere that is was 400 lbs. The X5 is going skiing soon and the tailgate is a great place to put on ski boots. I have several friends that are pushing 240 lbs. and two of them sitting on my tailgate may cause problems. What is the most weight someone has seen on their tailgate?

Additionally, I have the sliding load floor. What is the load rating for that and would it be better to use to sit on?

Well I know it will hold a old style stand up Pac Man arcade game. I was nervous when I was tilting the game down out of the back, with all the weight on the tailgate, but she held fine.
