hi,

I think the auto light comes with the rain sensor from 2001 model. I have a 2000 model and would also love to have this on my car

I know, turning that switch can be a bit stressful! Actually, I have it on mine but I don't leave it set to auto 'cuz I don't want the headlights to come on every time I start it up in the garage...

I agree. I would set it to aouto all the time. But my car is in the garage and i pull in and out quite a bit and the damn lights turn on every time. So i dont want to burn them out faster than they should so i just leave it off then turn them to auto at night so that the adaptive feature works
