Idea Fusion
So I might have a potential Catalytic converter issue, but was also looking at getting an x-pipe in place of my resonator. Would it be possible to put a new catalytic converter and the x-pipe in the area where the resonator was? I'm not sure if the distance away from the engine changes the functionality of the cat, but if not this seems like a great idea.

Distance from the engine has a big effect on the functionality of the cat.

Well there went that plan. Does anyone know of a converter that could be welded on in place of the old one without having to buy the whole collector and everything? There are a lot for sale but I don’t know if anyone has one with “guaranteed” or at least tested Fitment.
