Remeber the old take the key out bit! Took me ages to work that out as the Foxwell just thinks it’ll work straight away

I got through to the next screen in the procedure where it tells me to switch on terminal 15 (that’s just key in the second position, right?) and turn off engine (it’s not on to begin with) and then press continue. When I press continue it jumps to no communication screen again and then I have to restart the tool to get back to that screen.

Yeh so turn it to where the key is just before you would turn to start it. So all lights on the dash.
Hmmm is the car on a battery charger/ fully charged battery? Mine did the same unless the battery was fully charged it just outright said no communication

But my key is already turned to that position to run the scanner. So I am not doing anything with the key when I get to that screen. Am I doing something wrong? Battery is hooked up to charger now

No nothing wrong. So you get to step 5? And press continue. Then it just looses communication?

Correct. I connect my scanner, turn the key to position 2, go through manual selection (it doesn’t show my serial number when I do manual selection). I can select the starting value adjustment (reset) option and it takes me to the next screen which tells me to switch on terminal 15, turn off engine, and press continue. When I press continue I lose communication

Hmm that’s a werid one. Only thing I can suggest is make sure the battery has over 12v in it. As that’s what was causing mine to throw a wobbly. I think the module is Very sensitive to voltage change.
Only other thing I would suggest trying is have the key in position one. Get to the same point and then turn the key to position two when it asks?

I just read my codes again and there was a 0F ews voltage code—so maybe the battery did get too low. I’ll measure it now.

Ahh that might be it. If you have got some time just go grab a brew and let the battery charge up for a while, then come back. Mine was at somthing stupid like 11.5v and the buggar just said No lol
I’m so paranoid is now I’ve got a solar panel charger I leave connected when I go away for a week or two!

I’m guessing the module has some coding in it that says anything too low it just disconnects the module. Which I guess is how the thing de-syncs in the first place
