Do the pads wear evenly or is there significant difference on left/right, inner/outer pad? What brand parts? 7000 km for pads doesn't sound normal even if it was pure town driving.

Is it the same both front and rear? I get at least 5 times that mileage on one set of pads with mixed driving.

Depends how fun you drive but that should be 9/10 fun.

I have a sort of opposite problem: I don't use brakes much for corners so my tires get the brutal punishment.

I would look into alternative pads or at least get them from fcpeuro and only pay one more time

I've averaged 130,000 miles per set of Akibono ceramics and have 309,000 miles on my current rotors (Brembo). Everything sourced from FCPEuro.

Thanks for the tip, the next part on my to-do list is front brake pads. I fixed my dashboard brake light with tape about a month ago and with 2mm of pad remaining is time to actually replace.
