The hitch I installed is rated at 6K. Looking for gross combined vehicle rating to understand how big of a camp trailer I might tow. Little popup would be easy. The R-Pod trailers that would be nice for the two of us unless the grandkids come along.

I tow my 2,100 lb E30 on top of a 2,300 U-Haul auto transport easily on stock-rated tires and stock wheels.

as far as a "real" GWVR goes, I would look at the value on the door (which is 6,008 lbs IIRC) and add 6k to that. Meaning, your max gwvr should be 12,008 lbs. Obviously I wouldn't go that high, but that's a ceiling you can keep in mind.
