On the BC fuel level test (test 6, second level readout), what "phase is being reported?

Phase 1 is normal
Phase 2 is calculated fule level - sensor fault
Phase 3 is no fuel measurment level possible - gauge will read zero

This thread outlines a similar issue...

Also: you need to take an Ω measurement at the sender unit. Make sure it's sendtng a signal that is step one

Maybe take the right hand sender out and work it up and down while watching test 6 and the fuel gauge. It sounds like you have a problem with the right hand sending unit, The float can easily get hung up in the small space in the sump on the right side. Make sure your 2 syphon jet lines and the relief valve line are clipped into place.

Stuck will not show "no range" it will have some value. If hidden 6 doesnt have a value for both sides, must start with measure Ω on the offending side at the sender unit.

Thanks guys!
Test 06 shows “phase 2”
I need to get a multimeter to read the ohms coming from the right side I guess.
I’ve changed the right sensor and float twice.

Unplug the right hand sender/pump and plug in the original right side sender in your hand (with the pump disconnected) and work the float and see what happens in test 6.

Will the fuel pump still work and the car run if unplugged?
