Bluetooth battery monitor... Seen these?

Not sure if you blokes have seen these, I've been running a pair for a couple of months now and recommend them for a quick check of your battery voltage. App can support multiple devices, just not on the screen at the same time. Labelling of each Bluetooth unit in the app is possible to make it easier to identify which battery you are monitoring at any given time. I have one labelled 'Main' connected under the bonnet (hood) and one labelled 'Fridge' connected across my second battery in the rear. I think the claimed current draw is 1mA. The app has a few other features, some useful, like the graphing of voltage. Graph image shows the cycling of my fridge compressor.

I should have added, it would be a bonus if the android head unit could support these, but in my case it doesn't. I need to use my phone. My head unit will support my phone and my ELM OBD adaptor for Torque Pro but no other bluetooth devices. The app runs, but cannot add the monitoring units.

Yes that's correct. Swiching between bluetooth monitoring units is done on the app. The app displays one or the other at any given time, not both. Can set alarm limit voltages in the app too, but I haven't set them up, nor used the function that checks battery voltage drop at vehicle start.

Why go through all the complication for a simple voltage monitor? It's more things that can potentially drain the battery if and when it goes kaput.
If I really want to monitor the battery, I would just plug in a voltmeter for the cigarette lighter - something similar to this => https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Charg...SNBKMCK79Q9ZCT Or just use the secret menu if I don't have a meter at hand.

Each to their own mate. I bought it primarily to monitor my second battery which too is under the floor, but doesn't have a cigarette lighter or secret menu. It powers my car fridge and knowing the voltage of that battery is important to me. As for reliability and longevity, time will tell. In the meantime, the food the beer and more importantly me, are cool.

Just wondering.... If you're running Torque Pro why aren't you using the voltage reader that is embedded in it and can be customized on screen?

I run torque pro but very rarely
I should install the dongle and run again.
It would be interesting to see if that voltage differs from the one on hidden OBC menu

I have this tool, used in another vehicle. Here's what good about it:
Always quickly reconnects to your bluetooth. Unlike cheaply manufactured bluetooth devices which have memory leaks and 'freeze up' after being powered for over a day, this one has no problems.
App has special menus to perform voltage drop checks when cranking.
Automatically sends periodic notifications of battery life.
The displayed voltage is just as accurate as some of the best meters.
Useful when playing music from the radio without the engine on - determine a good time to restart the car to charge the battery.

Well I suppose I could wire my head unit out to the kitchen table, it's only 15 metres, and leave the ignition on and run torque pro, but its just easier with bluetooth and my phone.
