Random Hardware

Hey there friends! Hope all are doing well amid this hysteria that’s ensuing. I just got done doing amps and speakers in the X5, and was reassembling the trunk area, but alas I have two bolts and nuts that I don’t know where they belong. Name: Adjustments.JPG
Views: 237
Size: 141.4 KB They’re all 10mm. The other bolt matches the one shown, I just put it down somewhere and can’t find it. Thanks for any help!

And to add, the nuts thread onto those bolts. I honestly don’t even know if they came from the car.

The cross members across the battery. If they are the same size and all there look for a couple that look newer eg p o dropped and replaced vs dig them out.

Those are all 13mm's I believe. 4 x 10mm bolts go around the air suspension compressor though.

I'd check the amplifier mounting bracket, the electronics bracket itself, and the bluetooth module areas. Looks like one of the 10mm bolts from the bracket. I forget how many there are 3 or 4. 2 on top shown below and one on the side by the tail light and one in the back on the bottom? The 2 nuts I'm not so sure but could have come from the same areas as well.

Actually they do belong to the crossmember! I just don’t know how to read socket sizes apparently. The 3 was scratched off of my 10, so both of you were correct!

You need to go up to the main level of e53 and start a new thread with an appropriate title like “just bought 20xx x5 3.0 gas and am sure to be needing help. “

Looks like the nuts and bolts for the spare tire carrier. The carrier is triangular shape braces with a dome attached. Spare sits on top and gets clamped down to it. The two bolts go at the rear and the nuts at the front.
