Please help 😭

Hi all
I have a bmw e53 x5 3.0d
Just come outta the garage after having a new steering rack fitted as the old was on its way out im still getting the steering wheel wooble between 60-80mph!!!!
Bits that have been done so far
News discs and pads Pagid ones
Control Arms both sides
Lower control arms both sides
Tie rod ends both sides
Wheels balanced by a proper machine
Brand new tyres on front
Wheels checked for buckles or cracks
New steering rack today as the old one was clicking and clonking
Tracking done
Checked the callipers both sides nothing seizing or seized and not getting hot
Any ideas what else could be wrong I’m at a loss now lol garage don’t want me to spend anymore but this wobble is severe and I can’t put up with it
Any help much appreciated

My ex's car has been diagnosed with axle issues when vibrating around 80kph.... I have my doubts tho since I replaced them both within the last 50k kms

Track control arm is a possibility and swap your LF and RF as some belts are just picky about speed/direction for a wobble to show up.

Last but not least also do "road force" balancing....

Always wobble? When braking? Worse when braking? Changes under/off power? Problems like this can be traced to the giubo or the mounts.

Not too long ago, a guy had a front end vibration from the thrust bushing getting loose and another guy from tightening control arm with the wheels hanging.

The control point most often overlooked is the bearing at the top of the shock tower.

Use an app on your phone to measure the frequency of the vibration to help determine what is shaking. Simple math will convert rpm to road speed and you can know if it's before or after the differential

"Simple math".... I don't think that means what you think it means!!

I get confused with naught plus naught equals naught

That’s awesome. Ok. Not so simple math but looking up the rolling circumference of your tire size and some unit conversion does mean eventually you can divide feet per minute by feet per rotation and get the wheel speed in Hz to compare.

I wrote a thread how to do it search awr-fix vibration

I had a similar problem with my 528i and the problem (in my case) turned out to be the aftermarket rotors and pads. Switched them with high-dust (lol) BMW brand rotors and pads and the shimmy/wobble disappeared.

Do I understand correctly that a garage is doing work rather than DIY?

Bent axle(s). But that only because you haven't replaced them yet. Maybe a bad wheel bearing, but that only because you haven't replaced them yet.
