Nice job. Thanks for the write up. I downloaded it. I have been thinking about this mod for awhile. Just need to find a correct junkyard pair to do the conversion on. Yours look great! Where did you get the halos?

No worries, I hope it helps some open them up without damage. I contacted an Ebay seller directly for the rings I wanted. Their name is hid.lighting and are located in China. Delivery for something usually takes 2-4 weeks but with the current events who knows. If you contact them they can send various sizes of rings to fit your spec (if they are made in that size).

Better to ask permission than forgiveness? You can see my daughter's baby toys in some of the pictures. She didn't swallow anything that caused any permanent damage. She's actually looking like she'll be the smart one.

My wife said we should practice "social distancing" so I suggested 8" would be appropriate...

On a completely different topic.... Curved sofas are NOT a form of sleeper sofa

Nice write up. I butchered a set of prefacelift headlights a couple years back. Your DIY makes it look too easy.

Nice looking ride BTW. Always like seeing pics of your imola

I got a spare headlight on eBay so I can mess around with it. Here’s my progress so far. I’m probably going to go with the silver corner to add some contrast to it.

Helping out 2005x548is with the hotlinks.

Very interesting, can't wait to see them on the truck.

So are those actually pictures of a brand new headlight?

No, he ordered a used pair off Ebay to experiment with I believe. Done some interesting things. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

It was a used headlight I got on eBay for $120. I cleaned up the lens with this product I got on amazon and I was really surprised with the result, it looks like the lens is new! I ended up doing the side market gunmetal. Here’s the latest pic. Can’t wait to set them up!
