PA Soft vs Off the shelf scan tool (Schwaben)
Hi all,
I am still trying to get my head wrapped around how to get into coding my car as well as getting diagnostic functions beyond what ODBII provides. I have googled and read a few good threads and understand the difference between PA Soft and INPA (I don't think I want to go as far as INPA). But what I don't understand is whether I can get everything INPA gives me without the hassle of splicing a cable, getting the 32-bit program to work on my Win10 laptop, by buying an off-the-shelf product like the Shwaben Elite ($195). For a $95 premium over PA Soft it seems like a no brainer. It seems like this product has the same functionality as far as coding modules and changing settings. Am I understanding that right? Lastly, are there any other comparable products that are more cost-effective? For reference, I would like to code my lights, as well as add some functionality such as heated seats and possibly add an OEM towing module. Thanks in advance. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben...020sch01a~scf/ Schwaben Function List: http://bd8ba3c866c8cbc330ab-7b26c6f3...ction_List.pdf
