BMW Scanner v1.4.0 is a Trojan threat?

Did anyone get a "Severe" Trojan threat warning for BMWScan140.exe from Windows Defender Antivirus scan? I just got this warning in the last couple of days after the latest Windows 10 update.

Yeah there have been several discussions over on E46Fanatics about it but I think that the software is so old it doesn't have the Win10 certifications. I have no problem with it but my WinXP does not connect to the internet so I don't really give it a second thought. My machine running PA soft 1.4 has no issues.

My Son said, some files pop hot even though they are not a threat.

I don’t know. I still don’t like it!

It's the same S/W installed on the same machine for the past 5 years or so. Nothing changed, but all the sudden got flagged?

Did your machine recently get a Windows update? Whenever Mr. Gates decides to throw these updates at me in the middle of the night I always have my reconfigure my Bitdefender anti-virus ports to talk to my racing electronics.
