Are the stock bulb really 4300K? The labels on my lights indicate that they are 3457K.

Halogen is around 3200K. Automotive HID is generally around 4100k so I don't know why yours is 3457K. That's an odd color to me.

I know what you are talking about. I just installed these tonight and although they are "whiter" than stock H3 bulbs (and very much the same as the Silverstar H3 I replaced with these), they are still no where near the xenon headlights. I decided to try these because I have not had much luck with the Silverstars (weak bulb - blow within a year) and by their name I figured they would match the xenons better than the SS's, but they pretty much look the same. Hopefully they will last longer.

Sorry to hear you're not happy with them but they are not xenons and to expect them to perform like HID's is expecting too much. I think the Hoen's are the best of the halogen "xenon look" bulbs. The blue color you ware wanting is not as good as the whiter light.

As Breyton said, if you want HID you've got to get an HID foglight kit.
