Correct - M57 engine so it's a vacuum controlled EGR, not electric - so blocking it does not cause any issues.

EGR-valve on M57N and N2 engines is the same vacuum controlled but the software on DDE5 and 6 is more sensitive for EGR/fresh air relation because the used EGR percentage is bigger.

That's why I asked -DDE5 throws all sorts of EGR-related errors if the EGR isn't functioning correctly. Heck, I even got some EGR errors when my exhaust manifold cracked.... No check light but errors in the DDE fault registers.
