Only one way to find out... but you'd probably have to lose the reserve. They really prefer no res auctions on almost everything.
That's what I'm learning based on some of my rare communications with them. They seem pretty stuck in their ways and don't communicate very well. Really slow in replying and don't answer all your questions.

Relatively well sold. Granted the market has changed since I got mine ~6 year ago. (50k miles)

Maybe color spec would have brought more? Lemans or TiSi maybe.

Possible. Color is subjective. But I've found when it comes to auto sales, enthusiast car sales specifically, the bolder the color, the more money the car can fetch. Imola over black is probably the most desirable color combo available in the US. Excepting individual vehicles if there were any. This sale is probably an example of a "well sold" transaction and I would guess represents the high end of the market for a 40k mile 4.8is. Lower mileage, cleaner examples may fair better.

An example would be E46 M3's. An imola red, phoenix yellow, or laguna seca blue are starting to bring big money. LSB in particular is very hard to find.

That should make some 4.8iS owners pretty happy. Doesn't really apply to the humble 3.0 E53s I have (thought they both have lower mileage), but nice to see nonetheless. :-)

Armrest seperation

What is the best way to fix the armrest separation issue? I have that issue on the drivers door.

What color/material is your door card?

If it's a common color, buying a replacement used unit is fairly cheap usually. If not then I would disassemble the door panel (after removing it obviously) and take just that piece to an auto upholstery shop. Can't imagine them charging more than $100 to fix it. Shoot you might be able to take them the whole door card and not have to disassemble it and they will do it all for you.

Quick thinking and a hot glue gun.
