Is my door handle carrier on its way out?
When I lift my door handle (gently of course) to open my door it opens fine. But as I retract it back to a closed position it goes 95% of the way, catches for a second then pops back fully closed. I'll add a video later but is this a sign it's on it's way out?

Wouldn't hurt to put some silicone spray in there, pretty sure thats what i used on my old 4.8is one winter with the same issue. While your at it, spray the corners up and down of your window tracks as well and roll the window up and down a few times.
Helps keep them run smooth, i had a regulator that was running pretty slow and has since been fine for 2+ years. I do my tracks every 6 months or so.

The only issue with using silicone spray is that if you ever need to have your car painted after a wreck, that silicone will contaminate the paint. You'll end up with fisheye's in the clear coat. I painted cars in a former life and know that WD-40 and silicone sucks for painters. Sucks too, because it's a great lube!

No change after lubing the carrier. Looks like an easy swap so I'll replace it with a new one before it potentially breaks.
