If anyone needs info on modifications or the parts I used please ask.

Yes these are the original headlights, I have removed the inner plastic lenses and added the halo's and chrome colored indicators. I might make a DIY topic for this one as I took many pictures when taking them apart :-)

Please do this! I am very interested in doing the same thing! Did they have to be baked open?

I think I will have time to make a DIY guide this week :-)
Yes they can be baked open but I used a heatgun to get the lenses off.

Walked out to the X5 today to go to a job interview and found a nasty rust spot!

I always thought that the paint on the top part of this door looked strange. It has alwasy been a little dull and pitted. Must be a DIY repair someone had done. When I touched it some water came out

Will have to fix this soon, there is probably rust under there.
Thankfully I can do this myself and it's only a small part of the door.

I will get some pics up of the repair once done

The bubble in the paint went away after it dried up.

I still want to get it fixed soon.

Had my front side windows tinted today aswel as a little sunstrip fitted.
The windows are tinted around 55% which is the maximum allowed tint on front windows in NL.

I like the look, matches the factory windows much better. A little darker would look even better but I don't want to get a fine
