Brake light is On

I installed new brakes and rotors about 100 Miles ago and a new sensor! I now have a Brake light on and after scanning it shows no codes?
I know it is not the emergency brake light as it shows seperately!
Any suggestions on what it could be! Also checked Brake fluid and it was OK!

I don’t think it produces a fault code just wears though the wire and illuminated the light on the dash. Was the new sensors off brand or a decent make?

Or may sound stupid but are the sensors still in position on the pads? And connected fully? Could have vibrated out at either end?

Did you change all 4 sets or did you just change the fronts or rears?

If you triggered the brake pad warning light, turn the ignition switch to position 2 and wait 10 seconds. Light should clear as long as the pad wear sensors are not compromised.

This is the correct procedure! You say new brake sensor? Did you replace pads and rotors on all 4 corners? There is a sensor for the front and for the rear...

Have you checked the level of your brake fluid?

All four brakes were changed with ceramic pads with all four rotors replaced! I replaced the sensors with the ones that came with the Brake pads (purchased as a set including sensors)! I will try the 10 second test using the ignition in position two and if that does not work I will check and replace sensors as needed!
Thank you both for the information and advice!

On your model, is it possible to install the sensor upside down? Don't ask me how I know this but it wasn't on an x5.

andrewwynn will become famous soon enough
The reset procedure for the pad wear sensor is to turn the key to the on position and leave it for a full minute not ten seconds. Once you replace any sensors that have worn out.

Fixed - replaced rear brake sensor which had a broken wire. It appears it was rubbing on the rear of the wheel - used a wire tie to keep it off wheel and problem fixed!
