Beautiful example.

I've really enjoyed my weekend car purchase and find all the maintenance work satisfying to complete.

Another listing for an estoril blue popped up today. Only 69,000 miles.

Nice looking example but crappy pics. Would be nice to know what happened to the correct rims.

Those look like they might be the correct winter rims that were available from BMW at the time. I had a set on my 4.6is Several years ago. IIRC they are also somewhat rare as they were produced especially for the IS Which needs at least 18’s with the correct offset to fit over the brakes.

Price is up there, though. Are lower mileage examples really commanding this sort of cash now?

This place looks like an upscale dealer and those are preview pics. Correct winter rims or not those are not correct stock rims and to me are a major detractor for the vehicle and sale at that price. It needs those rear steamrollers.

Can someone please educate me why everyone is calling this Topaz Blue Metallic a bougie name of Estoril Blue?

I was trying to look it up but all the VIN decoders are now all defunct. That's really going to make car shopping more difficult.

I was JUST doing the same thing not too long ago. I got the "you have reached the daily limit" error. Last time I checked tho, mine said topaz blue I think for the color on my E53.

I was trying to use mdecoder.com

Its Estoril cuz thats how they came for 4.6is and confirming with RealOEM this is a 4.6is. Course could be an individual but doubt it.
