Good thought - I was wondering how he'll know fluid level before it runs out. It's a good idea to top it up instead of letting it run dry.

It has a sensor when its low and alerts you. Also I never let my car get that dirty so I would need to use it. I can't remember the last time I used the washer fluid on any of my cars. Lol

Jeez - I wish. I use about 4-5 litres of BMW washer fluid (concentrate) per year. Its only $11 a litre and works well. Smells nice too!

I probably wash the front screen about 3-4 times a week - same for the rear. I guess that's the joy of daily driving an X5 (or any car) in a coastal city...

Or where it snows. I have add a gallon to each of our X5 about every two months
