Got my 2 ebay keys cut and programed. Work great!

This is the second time getting keys from ebay and they have worked again. Got the keys with the right frequency (mine 315mhz). Got them cut at my local locksmith and programmed them in the car. Programming took maybe 3 minutes. I ordered the small roundels for the keys and they were almost as much as both keys!

2 - 315mhz keys - $24
2 - Key cut - $80
Total 104 - 3 Fully functional keys.

2 - Roundels stickers optional - $18 (Not yet arrived)

Could have bought mine

If you live in Winnetka, IL, you are just north of me. Could have bought my key blank with the BMW Rondel $30.00.

But this key blank you purchased is not a waterproof diamond key, correct? I mean you can separate the two halves of the black plastic to expose the battery?

These are sealed. You cant open them. You have to cut them open like the factory ones to replace the battery.

I am in Winnetka Ca.

Programming the keys to open doors is straight forward.

How did you sync the keys with the car's EWS system?

Or does the Ebay seller somehow do it with your VIN?
