Shocks and Struts

Just out of curiosity anybody try these cheap ass strut and shock set off ebay?

Wow... for $107 I would be afraid they would fail in a year and I’d be tearing the front end down again... I don’t think that I would spend a $107 because the cost of the alignment alone (the second time around when you have to replace them) will cost you more than that.

Autozone has their HD Duralast for I think $120, that’s a piece, but at least they last.

Yeah, and I am sure that Autozone has some sort of warranty that you can use if they do fail prematurely

The Duralast HD are actually a decent strut / shock and I believe they carry a 3 year warranty. I have nearing 80,000 miles on the ones I installed on my wife’s Buick Enclave and I can’t say anything bad about them

You can also look a Koni or Bilstein - I’m a Bilstein guy myself, running the B6’s front and back of my X and am completely happy with them.
