The most common cause of come and go wheel shimmy is the inner vs. forward control arms.

If you get wheel shake when you gentle brake at 45 ish mph or if you get steering wheel wobble when you steer left and right past center at 60-70 mph it's almost certainly the case

I had a similar come and go shimmy that turned out to be a bearing but that was much more subtle.

Ya it doesn't shake when I brake at all it just vibrates when I'm between 0-30 mph then it goes away and it does not do it all the time

Mine did that a couple days ago because I had snow packed in my wheel

Only occurs at that low speed, it doesn't just get less at higher speeds?

Here is a quickie chart to help with all the guessing

Thank you for the chart!! The vibration started after we hit a pot hole so we went to Les Schwab and found out one of the tires has a broken belt so we bought new tires had everything mounted and balanced and it did not do it for like a week then it came back:-( I took it to my mechanic and he inspected everything in the front and found nothing broke or bent my husband was positive it was a axle but nothing appears to be bent and nothing broken so our mechanic is also stumped I don't want to just start replacing everything and find out that was not it. When it start's to vibrate I let off the gas and it stops maybe it will start again and maybe it wont.

If you hit a pot hole hard enough to damage a tire it's likely you damaged a bearing. My bearing made a hide and seek vibration for nearly 3 years. The best way to determine when it is so subtle is to pull the axle out to remove CV axle and dif from equation and spin the wheel with a mechanic stethoscope.. a dying CV axle can also cause the symptoms.

The reason I mention bearing is that BMW has a Bulletin advising shops to replace bearing of any wheel impacted in an accident and that I've replaced at least 2-3 bearings that didn't wear out but were damaged from impact.

I would suggest following Andrew help. He knows these rigs and is worthwhile following his help. I would also double checking the balance of the front wheels.
