Ah. So from what you and Carylon said, it's in the dash - and part of the CD unit?

Yes sir. You will find the radio antenna cable plugged into the CD unit.

Does your X5 have DSP? Tell us what is wrong besides no sound.
Start by checking fuses.

So I finally got a replacement CD with radio unit and swapped it in and the issue actually got worse. With the old CD/radio, when I first start the X5 the radio comes on for almost exactly 60 seconds and then cuts out. Now it doesn't even come on.
Any thoughts? Could a bad amp be the issue? I've checked fuses and they look good, though if someone could list off the ones that are 'integrated' into the radio, that would be awesome. Thank you. Jay
