Same, before I converted to Android, it always activated the timer 1 to 12:00 after connecting with PA Soft.

Thanks for the confirm. What did you convert to Android? The screen/stereo?

I went with the AVIN Avant-4 Android head unit as a replacement to the factory audio system. It really brings our outdated systems to the current level of driver aids. Back up cameras, Bluetooth streaming capability, DVR of both front and rear cams, ADAS collision avoidance, wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, etc.

I just love it. For the quality, features, OEM looks and price, wonder why one would still continue to use the factory head unit.

Listening to some Kane Brown with Mrs OB.

Yeah, the Avin 4 has some pretty serious capabilities if you take the time to set them all up. It's mostly solid too for an aftermarket head unit. Based on Android so the odd system restart is required and other software niggles. But overall a great system.

Another vote for the AVANT-4. I replaced the old windows mobile based unit that was in the X when I purchased it. Night and day difference, absolutely makes you feel like you're actually in the 21st century.
