Adaptive to Non-Adaptive Headlight Assembly
I just recently purchased an X and am in the process of updating it to my liking. One of the things that I did immediately is purchase a set of euro headlights (with clear corners) off of ebay. When I made the order, I neglected to realize that I purchased a set of headlights with the non-adaptive bi-xenons. The car originally came from the factory with adaptive bi-xenons. I swapped the headlights over and I am only having a problem with the xenon on the drivers side of the car, it works intermittently. The passenger side works all of the time. When I remove the assembly (from the drivers side) and plug it in to the passenger side, it works all of the time. What are my options here? Do I need to get a new LCM to install for a non-adaptive kit? I still have the old headlight assemblies as well, is there any way to swap over the adaptive feature to the new headlights? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Does the passenger side work intermittently on the driver side too? If that's the case then I would suspect wiring somewhere may be bad. Any errors? |
