Coding in Toronto?

Anyone know who can code our E53’s in Toronto?

I reached out to a few people already who had ad’s, they say they don’t work on the E53....

Hey man.

Turn off daytime running lights, turn off corner signal lights that are always on, and turn off seatbelt & key chime .

I just did this yesterday. BMW scanner 1.4.0 made it SUPER simple to code the LCM for the lighting.

I'm unsure about the key chime and seatbelt. I saw this as an option listed but unsure about the coding for that specifically.

Hey Rocket. I searched for what you mentioned, it came up on Amazon. What do you do next with it, how does this all work. I can’t find anyone to work on my car, so it seems like I got too figure this out on my own.

Any chance we can discuss this together?

You already have a post like this no need for a second one.

e46, e39 and e53 are all pretty much the same as far as coding goes.

You have two options:

1 - Buy the hardware/software like BMW scanner 1.4 or Carly and learn to code it yourself

2 - Install the software yourself on a laptop and try and get someone who knows what they're doing to help you do the rest via remote software like teamviewer.

I told you already you can borrow my laptop so it's up to you to find someone and talk them into helping you do the coding.

I can very simply show you with screen shots. But I think the next step would be to get the BMW scanner 1.4.0 -- kind of like what was mentioned.

Anyway, I got mine on AliExpress for like 5 bucks, amazon I think was like 25. Once you get yours, I think people on the forum can then begin helping you do some coding and adjust your parameters.

c-bass, thanks for your offer. is the software you have more complicated to use then BMW scanner 1.4.0? seems like this scanner software is made to be more user friendly??

BMW scanner 1.4.0 is pretty stinking easy IMHO. Def easier than NCS expert in terms of usability.
