Dirt or oil can get under the brushes and cause a temporary fault condition. It can self-clean and come back to life. However when the brushes wear, the loss of spring pressure makes it more likely.

Drove a bit today, still no DSC light. Taking the ICV apart tomorrow if not raining so I’ll get a better look, make sure all the connections are tight, etc.

Driven 9-10 times, around 100 miles total. No DSC light or engine light.
