Installing new driver's door lock actuator.

I'm not able to get this one piece for outer handle cable into the notch it's supposed to go into. Nowhere can I find a step by step instructions on how to do this. Can someone please help with some kind of video or pictures??? YouTube sucks because they don't show the hard part. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

If you are talking about the groove on the cable there are two and one is not the correct one.

It takes a lot of force to get that sucker in there. I don't know if I have any pictures of the cable snapped in. I'm used to it and have thick skin on my thumbs so I can just grin and bear it and one form push snap it on.

Send a pic of what you are trying you'll get it

As soon as I get a chance I'll go and take a picture of what I'm asking about. I'm pretty sure what you just explained is it. I don't have the strength to push it in. I keep trying.

The clip on the end of cable sleeve is harder than the ball on the end of the cable. There are two grooves one is just to screw with you.

If I recall Correctly the directions to push is toward back of door so you can prob use the back of a screwdriver handle etc to push on it.

Installing new driver's door lock actuator.

You goofed the URL so I re posted the image:

Make sure it's in the right groove as shown in the photo.

Then use a short stick of wood and hit with hammer. (use tape to hold in place if it won't stay until you hit).

I'm pretty sure it's aligned where that will work.
