X5chemist will become famous soon enough
X5 - SAV or "minivan"

SAV or "minivan"?
The wifey sent me this pic.
Opinions? Thoughts?
I'm not familiar with it's drivetrain. I prefer naturally aspirated for long term maintenance. I do make one prediction. The left one will be at the dealer before the right one.

From that angle they both do. One just looks 20 years older as all vehicles have gotten larger.

I appreciate my E53 for sure, but for a daily, our heavily equipped F15 is tough to beat. With adaptive handling and drive, air suspension, you can have a soft planted driver for highway miling or a stiffer/tighter one for having fun. N57 is not much slower than the N62 either, about half a second 0-60. But will return 30+mpg. Best ever in the N62 was 21mpg, one time. Must have been downhill with a tail wind.

Just my .02 though, I like my E53 tremendously obviously. And if I had to sell all the X5's but one... the E70 and the F15 would be leaving. But that's mostly because of the E53 being imola red, a 4.8is, having Dinan goodies, and having the aero kit on it. Not many of those out there. All 3 chassis have their pluses and minuses. The E53 feels old compared to the E70 and downright ancient compared to the F15.

That aero body kit makes Your X5 look fresh as if it’s a newer ride and you can’t beat your setup in my opinion.

Mine won't be confused with a minivan. The third brake light lights up.
I've caught people behind me taking pictures.
Helps keep peeps backed off at lights. Others want to smell the exhaust.

I like the E53 exhaust tips. Reminds of old school exhaust dump behind the axle. My '83 C10 dumps exhaust behind the axle. Long term maintenance is up upgrade the muffler to an X Magnaflow.
