Fixed my vac leak but now getting P1512

this code is related to my Disa valve. my disa is only like a year old since I swapped it trying to figuring out my lean code errors. I did have to disconnect the disa to fix my CCV hose leak. I check and it plugged back in. no idea why it's not throwing errors. any thoughts?

Was the replacement DISA new ?

If not, I would put a new o-ring on it.. takes 20 minutes to carefully scrape off the old one

Try a smoke test. I built one using youtube, Home Depot and Harbor Freight for about $30. It helped me solve the same problem. New oring at the Disa Valve and a little JB Weld on a cracked plastic fitting and it's been working well for almost a year.

thanks. I have a smoker, but just figured I'd change the disa valve anyway. I replaced my old one with a jinker from rock auto like 2 years ago. $100. today I ordered a BMW original from fcpeuro for $350 with tax. I hope I get my miles worth. also rebuilding the front suspension.
