E53 New front axle shaft problem
Hi all,
I bought a set of front axle shafts for my 2000 4.4i. I fitted them but the outer cv will not fit in the hub. See below pictures. The seller has sold many of these shafts and gets good reviews. Everywhere I look I see cv shafts with outer measurement of 64.8 while my old shafts are 59mm. The splines are correct but the hub will not accept a 64.8mm outer cv joint. I checked real OEM and they say I need 31607503537 and 31607503538 while they have 64.8 outer size... Can you guys help please? 59mm outer size of my current shaft  64.8mm outer size of the new shaft  The coppergrease mark where the outer cv joint must fit in, which there is no room for.
