I looked into the cheapo ones and realized quickly they will only work for off. Also they won't fit in a lot of places where mine does when doing suspension

Closing this one out - shocks/struts replaced...
![]() ![]() OEM units were Delphi (Spain) as it turns out. The blown one was really shot (of course) - the other one wasn't too bad - still smooth and damping ok but very slow to return to full extension. Not bad after 260,000kms.

Actually, the bad unit has negative rebound - it sucks the shaft back in and is extremely hard to pull out!!
