Battery Being Drained

These have been posted more than 20 times in the past years. Some posters report back their findings to tell everyone what real issue was causing the drain others...nothing but crickets (or ice melting drops depending on the season)

For sure, I've saved it locally. It would just be so much easier to refer new queries to "see the sticky." But given the forum's moderator participation, unlikely to happen I know.

I had a vexxing battery draw for the past year or two and after seeing one of the threads on this forum tracked it down to the Phone on the stock stereo. Pulled fuse 74 in the rear fuse box and it's still starting in single digit temps after weeks of sitting.

Yep, that was my parasitic draw. TCU fuse 74. Replaced my TCU and all good again. I have since gone to Android so TCU is no longer used but still functional if I wanted to connect to it.
