they are a braided stainless hose with i believe a teflon inner , a friend of mine owns pioneer4x4.com he wanted to have the X5 on his database so he used mine for pattern and i got the set for free , he ships worldwide so check him out, www.pioneer4x4.com

they do there are a few companies in the uk doing this kind of brake lines , the two leaders being Hel performance and goodridge both close to me i even turned down a job at goodridge many years ago.

It's worth noting that stainless lines fail too. Usually the crimp fails and the hose just pops out. I've had the "pleasure" of that experience myself.
