Also, I've had multiple issues with stuff being shipped Fedex. Lately it always gets delayed. I had a prime rib being shipped from Oregon (620 miles). It took over a week. Since then I've had numerous items coming Fedex all were delayed. Supply chain is a real problem right now. |

I've been ordering from ECS for years. Sometimes it takes a little while, sometimes not. I'm currently waiting on a part and they've been very communicative about how long it's going to take and apologized when the delivery time slipped.
They're far from perfect, but nothing nefarious is going on.

I've been trying to get ECS to replace a "lifetime warranty" LED that I bought 10yrs ago for the last 1.5 weeks. No responses to email. Their support has really gone downhill since they were bought out

ECS is by far not the worst there is but I have had on multiple occasions the wrong part shipped or a part shipped late or not at all until I called. Every time the issue was remedied immediately with overnight shipping but its still a bit of a pain. Never had an issue with their warranty service. All that said I try to stick to FCP and AZAutohaus because neither have EVER screwed anything up for me. I constantly maintain 4 Bimmers and a classic Benz so I buy a LOT of parts.

ECS buys everyone - but they partnered with private equity a while ago.

Buy from FCPEuro. Shipping is a little slower than pre-pandemic days but they'll always ship within reasonable time. I just got replacement pulleys and belts for my 4.4 N62 under their lifetime replacement warranty. The pulleys/belts are starting to squeal/squeak/chirp on winter mornings, so I'm just replacing everything since it's free (except cost for shipping back the old belts and pulleys).

I bought from all of them, many times over during the past many months of my project and truth be told Pelican was the most consistently delivered on time for me. Eeuro was the worst in the sense that they don't even offer expedited shipping at this time. Most of them have a nasty habit of showing "in stock", or something similar and then when you get to the shipping part of check out they show it won't even go out their door for 4 to 5 work days.
