Front Driver's side window not going down

Greetings,

I've experienced the bad regulator before (you know the classic one where you come back to the car after leaving it parked at the airport for a week while on vacation and the window is rolled all the way down), but this new one stumps me.

When using the switch on the door panel, the front driver's side window will only roll a couple of inches down. Using the switch to bring it back up brings it back up, but subsequent presses yield no further action. Using the key to roll down all the windows from the outside results in normal behavior from this window.

Running PASoft 1.4 (side question - do we have any new scanner software for e53s or is that the best out there still?) results in the following error codes:

61 [097] Relay sticking to ground, power window motor, driver's door, opening
60 [096] Power window motor, driver's door

But I can't seem to find much info on these two messages.

I saw somewhere where some BMW convertibles had a similar issue, and there was a reset procedure that I tried to follow to no avail.

Many thanks
