So far, I've not had the trifecta in the short time I've had the X5, but I might need an Indy-BMW shop, just in case. I'm in the S area of DFW, about 50 miles from Justin. I used to commute for many years to work in Plano, so I'm used to long drives to get anywhere. Can you post or PM the shop info?

The shop that fixed me up is in Coppell.
Called BMS. They are great group. Just north
of DFW aerodrome.

wpoll will become famous soon enough
Great result - but workingonit, it's worth keeping in mind (in terms of this thread...) that the "coding" wasn't the fix for the trifecta - the new (repaired etc.) ABS/DSC module was the actual fix and coding the module to the car was part of the ABS/DSC module replacement process.

Just in case you missed the other threads around this trifecta journey of AV8R4AA's.

just wanted a positive report on an Indy shop

I've been out of drag racing/car repair etc. circles for nearly 15 years now, and also totally unfamiliar with BMW's and most of the interconnected electronic modules used since 2000. I've been lucky so far fixing my present vehicles (all GM, from '98-'09, excepting the '01 X5) due to some past experiences working on similar, along with friends. The BMW X5 is like a puzzle box to me, in comparison.

Without a circle of friends/suppliers/race shops that helped me back in the 1990-2008 period, I'm basically on my own fixing my vehicles; the unknown complexities within the X5 are far beyond my comfort zone. And I completely distrust stealerships. So, I'm gonna compile a list of a new parts sources, parts manufacturers, and also independent garages that people can trust, just so I can deal with my X5, while I'm winding-down my car fetish, as I grow older.

It was a good reminder of why you ideally want to source a module from the same model of X5.
