JS_4.8 is on a distinguished road
All those with AFE intakes, please read

I received the AFE intake kit for my 05 4.8 this week (ordered it from the group buy). As I was going over the parts list, I noticed the "billet adaptor" as its described in the instructions is actually now made of black plastic. I was a little disappointed in this, so I called up AFE and they informed me its not a mistake and that now make that part out of plastic (as opposed to metal) because it is cheaper. I asked if it flowed the same and he said absolutely.

Has anyone else who just got their AFE intake kit recently also had the plastic adaptor? Just want to make sure I didn't get stuck with the wrong part and am curious when this change came around. They havent updated the instructions yet because they still have a picture of the billet adaptor.

Thanks!
