Where is the Coolant Going

You need to rule out, or in, the idea that your head gasket is leaking coolant into a cylinder.

Here is how you do it...

1. Run the car to full operating temp one afternoon or early evening...

2. Let it sit overnight,

3. In the morning, before start-up, pull spark plugs and swab each cylinder looking for coolant.

I used a 1 foot piece of flex tube and (securely) taped 1/2 a q-tip to the end of it.

In my case, I found coolant in cylinder 6.
