5E63 Brake light switch error

Hi
Few month ago my brake light pedal switch died, which was causing the brake lights to always stay on.
After replacement the lights are working as they should, but it creates an issue with the 4x4 system.
When driving, it triggers randomly (can happen after 5km, or not happen after 20) the error "4x4 DSC OFF" with the usual ding and the yellow (!) + 4x4 light staying on. Brake lights still working as they should tho.
Stores the error "5E63 Brake lights switch permanently on".

Shutting down the car, starting again and everthing works fine. Until next ding...
Could it be a faulty new switch? When checking on ista, the switch is activated as i press the pedal.
It's adjusted well - touching the pedal metal thing when released.
