Checking in from OBX

Took a road trip out to the outer banks and finally found the wild horses of Corolla. 209,000 miles on her now and she handled the sand with no issues what-so-ever. Never even dropped the tire pressure.

nice! I guess the wide tires are actually quite handy in loose sand?

Yes sir. Width makes all the difference in the world on sand along with X drive. Mostly Jeeps and trucks running around. Really nice to be able to just go fully loaded down with 4 people and luggage in our SAV.

I'm always saying, "It's the width".

Looks like a great time OB. We just did Broken Bow, OK again last weekend. Fresh plugs, a little Sea Foam fuel treatment and a fresh tank of Shell premium in the Waverunner had that 1.8L Yamaha screaming at 65 mph. It only "needs" regular, but can take advantage of higher octanes just like a car. Just can't get in enough lake time these days.
